Introduction to building Factories

To build a factory you will need to know the following.

You will need is an idea of what you plan to create and a good comprehension of what is needed to complete the project.

  • 3D design caperbility
  • Mechanical Engineering know-how to enable your 3d skills to flurish into a mechnicaly working design
  • electrical engeneering
  • codeing / programming ability
  • Production capability 3d printing and machiening of parts

what would help is a great understanding of game design / "unity game engine's software development environment, which is well suited for 3D games. you can follow along with the projects but the customisation will send you down a great rabbit hole of electronics and invention.

You need to know the "serial port", you can use a raspberry pi to become the brain of a humanoid robot. a rasbberry pi can control a multitude of arduinos through it's programmable input and output pins.

Unity learn enables you to achieve a great understanding of C# programming, paired with Paul McWorther's arduino and Raspberry Pi tutorials youll be a Wizz in no time and all you need is to know that serial (the Serial Port) is a connection type used my morden day computers that allows devices to talk to each other enableing you to connect 100ds of cables working in harmony with eachother. there are lots of types of serial ports a common one we all know is the USB (universal serial bus) its called a bus because it transports the information from computer to computer. some other common serial busses include "micro USB" and USB B" which you may have used to plug into a printer is is the same as the port on some arduino boards Arduino is an italian company which specalises in easy to use microcontroller development boards. The creators of Arduino made the files for their microcontroller boards open source which means anyone is legaly allowed build and modify them. the sourse is open to anyone to view and modify. China is a power house in electronic production and they sell the Arduino Clone development boards at a fraction of the cost enableing us to sell them to you far cheaper than i would have believed. if you need more than 20 in a factory i would recommend going to them
